February 2024 — January 2025

I joined this campus startup as a Web Developer. I followed our Graphic Designer's input to create responsive, interactive webpages using HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
Over time I gained responsibilities, including administering the webserver and working with interdisciplinary teams to connect hardware to our server's backend.
Utilized cPanel to create URL based routing, RESTful API endpoints, and a PHP mailer.
Managed SQLite databases and ensured 99.9% server uptime.

Projects

Codelympics: An Educational Game

September 2024 — May 2025

Unity | C# | JSON | UML

Codelympics is a videogame that teaches programming concepts to young students.
Development followed the typical software life cycle, from research to writing usecases and user stories. We created UML diagrams to determine our project architecture.
We built Codelympics using the Unity Editor, 2D/3D rendering pipeline, and custom assets.
I created the Synchronized Swimming minigame, which uses code blocks to teach users about functions, variables, conditionals, and loops. The level scripts were written in C#, along with a robust save manager which reads and writes JSON data to the filesystem to preserve user progress.
We performed real-world testing at a local community center, gathering feedback from 4 middle school students. We also presented Codelympics to a panel of engineers at Santa Clara's Senior Engineering Design Conference.
